New Year’s Resolutions (Ponderosa Style): Campground Goals for 2026

2025 was the year of burnt marshmallows. In 2026, we aim for golden-brown perfection—gooey, melty, and stacked like edible architecture.

In 2026, we’re leaving Wi-Fi behind (except for emergencies… like needing to Google ‘how to keep raccoons out of your snacks’).

We love their enthusiasm, but maybe not first thing in the morning before coffee.

This is the year we finally perfect our jump shot on the Ponderosa basketball court—even if it takes 327 attempts and a dramatic slow-motion victory dance. 

And when the pool opens for the season, you know we’re volunteering for the first belly buster of the season. It won’t be graceful, but it will be legendary.

Because there’s nothing better than watching kids light up when they meet a pony for the first time or roast their first marshmallow. That’s the real magic of this place.
