Ponderosa Campground offers the best wooded, spacious tent
sites and the best prices at the Jersey Cape Shore.
Our tent sites have a tree line buffer allowing
privacy between you and your neighbor. Ponderosa Campground
does offer family group sites. These sites are joined together
allowing families and family group gatherings to camp together.
We are sorry, but these sites are not offered for RV
trailers to occupy. The sites are non sewer sites.
The beautiful, serene setting allows shade for the hot summer
days. Each site
has electric, water, picnic table, and fire ring. Ponderosa
does offer Free cable on select, requested tent sites.
Outside firewood s not allowed.
We do sell fire wood, ice, and have vending.
Ponderosa Campground offers Wi-Fi, for a fee.
There are no pets
allowed on our tent sites. Our campground is clean, well
maintained and safe. Our campsites are raked and the fire
pit is cleaned after each check out. The Ponderosa
Campground maintains 24 hour security. With strictly
enforced quiet hours.
The Ponderosa Campground does not offer an on site
convenience
store. The local
Acme grocery store is across the road from the Ponderosa for all
your camping and grocery needs. Ponderosa Campground has two
clean, bathhouses with free hot showers.
The bath houses are decorated, with a seashore décor.
We are sure you will enjoy our new heated pool. 1600 sq.
feet is sure to please both the adults and children.
Ponderosa Campground has great accommodation for you and your

the Ponderosa Campground location allows you to enjoy
the New Jersey Southern Shore region.
Sunbathing on the Avalon beaches, Cape May beaches,
and the Wildwood beaches. Surfing, fishing, kayaking,
birding, amusement rides are available minutes from the
Ponderosa Campground. The
Cape May County free Zoo is located 1 mile from the
Ponderosa Campground. We strongly recommend a visit during
your stay with us. A great stop to take your family, both
economical and pleasing. Visit the Zoo and take the nature
trails. Pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic while you visit the
Zoo.
