The Zoo will be having a naming contest for the baby giraffe soon, so be sure to check their website.
When you enter the park it's full of adventures and playgrounds for the children to play on. I love the barn animals and now they even have a cow called Jilly. There are owls, reptiles, birds, monkeys, and so much more. As you walk through the zoo there are signs that will direct you to the different animal displays, small snack shops, and especially the restrooms. I enjoy walking along the African Savanna admiring the baby giraffe and the zebra’s plus so many more animals. The tiger is huge and his markings are breathtaking. The baby animals are outside weather permitting.
On May 21st from 1-5pm, help support Rhino Conservation and the zoo's fun-raising event Winos for Rhinos, held at Natali Vineyards- right around the corner from the campground.
If you go: Hours: Open 10 am till 4:30 every day. Free parking.
